“ The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives ” star Jen Affleck filed for divorce from Zac Affleck on Tuesday after seven years of marriage, according to court documents obtained by People.
The couple first met in 2018 and got engaged and married the following year. They share three children, Nara, Luca and Penelope, and are currently expecting their fourth.
The news of the couple’s split comes ahead of the premiere of Hulu’s “Secret Lives” spin-off, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County,” on Nov. 12, in which Jen stars. Since the original debuted on the platform in 2024, Jen has had a major role in the series across all five seasons alongside cast members including Taylor Frankie Paul, Whitney Leavitt, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, Jessi Draper and more. (Paul, Matthews and Leavitt have all since left the show.)
On screen, viewers have seen a myriad of Jen and Zac’s marital issues play out, including both financial and emotional issues between the two. On Season 1, a now-infamous spat between the two was documented when Jen was potentially attending a Chippendales show with her “MomTok” co-stars during a cast trip to Las Vegas, prompting Zac to tell her she’d end up divorced if she went. Jen has also been vocal about Zac’s issues regarding gambling over the show’s run.
