Dancing With the Stars pro Brandon Armstrong appeared to get a tattoo after he and Lauren Jauregui were eliminated from Season 34, but the truth is, he actually didn't.

The confession came during a recent sit-down on Joe Vulpis' podcast, which was released on Nov. 1. Vulpis asked Armstrong if he really got a tattoo after the show to which Brandon replied, "no."

For those unfamiliar, Armstrong posted a TikTok of himself appearing to get inked with the word "pissed" — the one word that Jauregui used to describe how she felt after getting eliminated. The idea came from ballroom pro Ezra Sosa, who decided to get the word "nothing" tattooed on his back to commemorate his Season 33 partner's (Anna Delvey) response to what she'd be taking away from her experience on the show.

On Vulpis' podcast, Armstrong explained his thought process behind posting the fake video.

"I'm view hungry, baby. That's all I want," Armstrong said on the podcast. ""Let's get to me. I don't have a lot of followers on TikTok," he explained. "[I'm] still struggling. If I can get the 1M on TikTok, I'll go live and we can all go get the tattoo together. How about that?"

Fans reacted to Armstrong's confession — and his apparent promise — in a clip of the interview posted on TikTok.

"Oh Brandon we WILL get you there," one person wrote.

"I WISH they showed more of Brandon's personality on DWTS. He is FUNNY! Get Brandon his followers," someone else said.

Meanwhile, Sosa — whose tattoo is very real — responded to the confession in his own hilarious way. "…i could've faked it," he wrote.
