"I have tried everything I can to revive my voice, but I cannot give you the show I'd like to be able to give you with the condition of my throat right now," he wrote on Instagram
The 23-year-old pop star is in the middle of his American Heart World Tour, which he kicked off on Aug. 22
Benson Boone is dealing with a health issue during his world tour.
On Saturday, Nov. 1, Boone, 23, announced on his Instagram Stories that he would be rescheduling his show at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England, less than an hour before he was scheduled to take the stage.
"I am so sorry but I will not be able to perform tonight," he wrote. "I have tried everything I can to revive my voice, but I cannot give you the show I'd like to be able to give you with the condition of my throat right now."
"This is genuinely the crappiest feeling, I am so sorry," he continued, adding that he is working with his team to reschedule the American Heart World Tour show as soon as possible. "I promise you I will do everything in my power to make it up to you. I'll update you guys as soon as I can. Thank you for everything you do. I love you guys so much."

The singer-songwriter, who is known for his effortless ability to do a backflip on any stage, previously told PEOPLE how excited he was to embark on a tour that is "vastly different than anything I have ever done before."
"[We have] a far bigger stage than I've ever seen before and there's little choreographed moments and better outfits and everyone's a little more locked in," he said in August.
Boone continued, "We rehearsed for like two weeks, which probably doesn't sound very interesting at all, but that's a big deal to me."

Boone recently announced that he will be performing at the Kennedy Space Center's Rocket Garden on Nov. 29 for a one-night-only event, which will also be live streamed to fans around the world on TikTok.
"Visa and NASA have truly gone above and beyond bringing this show together," Boone said in a press release for that performance. "This show is going to be so insanely sick and one I'll remember forever. I hope everyone likes my outfit as much as I do."
