The series is a sequel to Yellowstone's first prequel, 1883, and stars Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford as Cara and Jacob Dutton, ancestors of Kevin Costner's Yellowstone character, John Dutton III. Season 1 followed the Dutton clan as they navigated challenges including a historic drought and Prohibition.
