Championship promotion hopefuls Burnley have signed Peru international Oliver Sonne on a four-and-a-half-year deal from Danish Superliga side Silkeborg. Sonne, 24, is a defender with more than a hundred appearances in Denmark's top-flight. After signing for an undisclosed fee, Sonne said: 'I'm super excited! To be here and experience the club and the facilities – it's mind-blowing! 'There's a lot of reasons I joined this football club. The big one is that it's a massive club with great ambitions.
