An amateur soccer player will appear in court in September after he was charged with common assault in an alleged incident which involved a game-day referee. The man, 34, allegedly chased the whistle blower off the pitch and then allegedly attempted to kick down a door after he was earlier sent off during an All Age division three match between Harrington United and Narellan Rangers at Nott Oval in Sydney's south-west.
