Chelsea have continued the shake-up of their medical department by moving for Crystal Palace doctor Andrew Shafik. The Stamford Bridge side are in the midst of revamping their medical team, with Shafik their latest appointment. Chelsea hired former Bournemouth medical director Craig Roberts, who has also worked with South Africa Rugby, to become their new head of performance medicine earlier this summer. Roberts replaced Dimitrios Kalogiannidis, who left in January after nearly 15 years at the west London club.
