Frankie de Jong has reportedly been set a deadline by Barcelona bosses who have grown frustrated by his injury situation. The 27-year-old has been out of action since April after injuring his right ankle at Real Madrid during the final Clasico of last season. Manager Hansi Flick had been hoping to have De Jong available for the start of the current campaign but he has missed the first three fixtures, all of which Barca have won 2-1.
